A MAN, HIS MOTORCYCLE, AND THE PINK MOTEL!!

Robert just got back from a Road Trip on his Motorcycle. He, and two friends went into East TN, Ashville, NC and Helen GA. They had a great time. They road the Tail of the Dragon, Blue Ridge Parkway, Cherahola Skyway, Clingman's Dome. These are unknown to most of us unmotorcycle riders. They had a great time.

The Pink Motel is a whole other story. They stopped in to get a room, not knowing that everything in these rooms are pink. Right down to the sheets. Three motorcycle guys sharing a room at the Pink Motel. I am sure they got talked about after they left the registration desk. LOL

They left early Sunday Morning and got back last Wednesday. They had trouble getting gas in GA. They finally got it but had to set in line for a while.

I am glad he is home safe and sound. I worry about him riding, but he loves it. I like for someone to go with him. I worry less if he is not alone.

With Winter on the way, he usually does not ride as much. It's just too cold sometimes. But this time of year is perfect riding time...

ROAD TRIP!!

Chase, Amanda, and Robert went to Memphis Friday night to a concert. Corey Smith, I had never heard of him but he must be kinda popular. This is what Chase wanted to do for his birthday. They left right after school on Friday and got home at 4AM Saturday morning.

They were so tired, especially Robert. He has not stayed up that late in Years. They had a great time, they had supper at the Hard Rock Cafe. The concert was on Beale Street in a Theater there.

He come off his bus just to give Chase and Amanda an Autograph..Take Pictures and he Signed Chase's Guitar. They were so excited and this was trip that Chase will remember forever...

His Birthday is Wednesday and he will be 17, he is a senior this year. I can't believe it!!!!

BEST BBQ ANYWHERE!! "RIB SHACK"

There is a BBQ Restaurant in Corinth MS, that has the best BBQ. (It's worth the drive) It doesn't matter if you want pulled pork or ribs. The ribs are a dry rub and they have a great flavor, but not messy.. The sandwich of pulled pork is great. I don't know what it is about it but it is so good. They also have slaw, baked beans and they have Crinkle Cut fries or "Home Fries" these are "REAL" potatoes that have been cut and deep fried. They have BBQ sauce, Ketchup, Hot Sauce and a Roll of Paper Towels on every table. There are two Flat Screen TV's with the Closed Caption turned on so you can catch up on new or sports or whatever. Almost every time we go there are several Motorcycles there and they will have tags from places like Kentucky, Alabama, Tennessee, and lots of other places. It is a clean and family friendly environment. They have bulletin boards on the wall and you can bring pics of your kids, grand kids or what ever and put on the boards. The people are so friendly.

They also have Hamburgers, smoked chicken, they also have something called a Pig Salad. There desserts are homemade. The strawberry cake is soo good!!

This restaurant is located on Highway 72 right behind Pizza Hut. It is pretty far back off the road and could be easy to miss. For excellent BBQ you need to give it a try!!!

We Went to Jackson!

Robert and I went to Jackson TN today. I had a doctor's appointment. Nothing serious, just that once a year trip that females have to take! ;) ; ) We also had to find Robert some shoes and buy a new Fax Machine for the office. Ours bit the dust and the faxes are hardly readable.

I'm thinking Arby's for lunch!! It was good Roast Beef and Potato Cakes. We went in Office Max to get the fax machine and I finally bought me a new Desk Chair. I have been using the same office chair for 7 years. It's about time for a new one!! Robert was a sweetie and put it together for me tonight!! It felt comfortable in the store and here at home I hope I like it at work.

Robert's Trip

Robert took a trip to Walterboro South Carolina to an Auction that one of our United Country offices was doing. This was a "Ballroom" Auction. This is where you rent a large room and auction off lots of different properties.. He rode his motorcycle on this trip. He loves to ride.. I worry about him but I put him and his safety in God's hand and pray he watches over him.. He left Wednesday and drove all the way, which is about a 12 hour drive. He attended the auction on Thursday and drove to the coast and got a whiff of the salty air. He said it made him think of me.. (We met on the gulf coast in Pascagoula MS. We spent lots of time on the beach.) He was going to be home on Saturday and take his time riding back and just enjoy the ride. But he got home about 8:30 last night. I was glad he got home early and it is a good thing. We had to call a plumber this morning. We had a water leak under the house... I worry about him riding but he is a very careful driver and watches out for the other drivers.. I am glad to have him home safe and sound once again.. He still has not got a chance to see Tootie. Maybe we will see her tonight or tomorrow... I love my Husband and Family soooo much!!!
